Homeopathy is the medicine of the future, and the future is now.
As a Certified Classical Homeopath, I treat children, adults, and pets with acute and/or chronic health conditions, using homeopathic remedies. Behavioral challenges, as well as mental & emotional symptoms, such as depression and anxiety, all respond well to homeopathic care.
I consult with my patients remotely and confidentially via Google Meet to discuss their concerns and symptoms during an extensive (1-3 hours) intake appointment. Once I have a thorough symptom picture, I endeavor to find its best match in the symptom picture of a given remedy. This is because Homeopathy functions under the principle, “Similia Similibus Curentur” or “Let Like Be Cured By Like.”
Homeopathic remedies, in the form of pellets and liquids, are carefully prepared by homeopathic pharmacies and are FDA approved. They provide an energetic stimulus and direction to a patient’s vital force, which ultimately supports the patient’s movement toward health and equilibrium. Homeopathy is both gentle and effective, and I am privileged to provide this profound healing modality to my patients.

The disease cannot be eliminated as if it were a foreign object without risking the elimination, at the same time, of something substantial that should be alive. Our duty is not to destroy or eliminate. Rather, we should nourish that which wants to grow until it is able to play its role in the wholeness of the soul.

The physician's highest and only calling is to make the sick healthy, to cure, as it is called.

Introducing Homeopathy | Official Trailer
Homeopathy is an energetic medicine that has gentle but powerful effects on the physical, mental/emotional, and subtle levels of sentient beings, that is, plants, animals, and humans. The healing influence of Homeopathy derives from the therapeutic relationship between the practitioner and her patient, alongside the healing capacity of the homeopathic remedies themselves.
The homeopath endeavors to prescribe for the whole person and their circumstances. So we begin with a thorough consultation. The patient is provided with a New Patient Intake Form, which allows them to consider and document all the things, the whats and the wherefores, of their entire circumstance, history, and symptomology. The homeopath is above all else a good, active, and non-biased listener, allowing her patient to open up and share all the levels the homeopath hopes to address in her patient.
In Homeopathy, and contrary to conventional approaches, we welcome symptoms and strive not to suppress them. Symptoms are the language of the body and spirit, and together they comprise a totality which guides the homeopath to helpful prescriptions of homeopathic remedies. We speak of the full symptom picture as the Totality of Symptoms. Since Homeopathy functions on the principle of Like Cures Like (see the page entitled Hahnemann for further explication), the homeopath searches for the remedy(ies) with the symptom totality most similar to that of her patient.
Essentially, the selected homeopathic remedy will induce a similar, but stronger temporary mistuning of the life force, an artificial illness, as it were. This mistuning mimics the existing illness and displaces it. The engendered illness marshals the patient's immune response, as well as their life force, whose sole job it is to maintain our harmonious inherent health in perfect equilibrium. Once these dynamic forces of artificial illness and in-dwelling spirit are marshaled and moving the patient in a healing direction, both the initial illness and the temporary one sent to displace it subside, and the patient can once again experience the ease of feeling well and in good health.
Homeopathic remedies derive from a vast variety of sources from the Plant, Animal, and Mineral Kingdoms, and beyond.
The source material starts out as a physical substance and is processed into a liquid tincture, with water and alcohol as its base. Then, through an extensive process of Dilution and Succussion, the solution is progressively potentized, or dynamized, into a benign liquid, which carries the energetic and medicinal blueprint of the original substance. None of the initial material substance remains, that is, there are no atoms or subatomic particles of the original substance left in solution.
It is in this way that the medicine becomes both very gentle, yet energetically powerful, reducing a potential poison, for instance, to a potentially healing agent. What are the mechanisms that make this so? Homeopathy is a universe unto itself, and it functions at the level of quantum physics. The remedies communicate with a patient's electromagnetic field, subtle body, and life force. For a thorough exploration of Homeopathy, its remedies, how they are prepared, and how it works, please turn to one of its masters, George Vithoulkas and his book, The Science of Homeopathy. We've moved from raw substance, to tincture, to potentized liquid. That liquid is then delivered via pellets of milk sugar that easily dissolve under the patient's tongue, or alternatively, in liquid form, as in LM (Q) potencies and split doses. Many people confuse Homeopathy for Herbal Medicine, but they are distinctly different modalities. While Herbalism works on the physical plane to help manage or eradicate symptoms, Homeopathy is purely energetic, albeit its effects are physical.
One wonders if Homeopathy is compatible with other modalities. Ones that come to mind are Accupuncture, Chinese Medicine, and Herbalism. It is recommended that one work with one of these modalities at a time. When we combine them, it becomes difficult to evaluate the progression and evolution of a patient's response to a given homeopathic remedy or treatment modality. That said, I'm sure there are multidisciplinary prescribers who are well trained and able to incorporate and track these different modalities into their practices skillfully. For similar reasons, classical homeopaths prefer to work with single remedies at a time, rather than remedy combinations, in order to better evaluate a patient's progress vis-a-vis a given remedy.
Where conventional treatments, both medical and psychiatric, are concerned, patients are advised to continue their prescribed medications until which time the medicines may become obsolete or unnecessary. One of the beauties of homeopathic prescribing is that the dose can be infinitely modulated so as to arrive at just the right prescription for an individual patient. Homeopathy relies heavily on individualizing its treatment to suit the patient. Over time, as prescriber and patient get to know one another, treatment can become very finely tuned.
Homeopathy has wide ranging applications. It can be used to treat acute illnesses, such as digestive upsets, coughs, earaches, UTIs, migraines, sore throats, stings, etc., as well as chronic conditions involving major systems of the body, such as respiratory, immune, reproductive, hormonal, and eliminative. Consider being treated homeopathically when facing issues involving all the major organs of the body, e.g., the heart, lung, skin, liver, brain, and kidney, etc.
Homeopathy can treat simple eye strain from being on screens too much, or the aches and pains of overexertion felt in the muscles and tendons. It can treat the aches and pains felt in the bones during a flu. The homeopath will prescribe a remedy prior and post-surgery to help manage the effects of surgery, both prophylactically, and afterwards. It is also useful for the bad effects of vaccination, or vaccination injury.
Homeopathic care does wonders for treating anxiety and behavioral issues. It is helpful in cases of head injuries. Bruising, be that from a fall, an accident, or surgery, responds well to homeopathic treatment. Many people are grateful for its usefulness in palliative care, be that to ease the after-effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatments, for instance, for easing the symptoms of chronic illness, or for its support during the dying process.
Homeopathy is both gentle and effective. It can be used to treat children, teens, adults, and elders. There are remedy kits and books available to support the use of remedies in the home, for First Aid and the everyday health issues which arise. It is used throughout the world, in India, Europe, the Americas and beyond. I invite you to explore this profound healing modality. It is my hope that more and more people discover this gentle, effective, accessible, and affordable approach to health care, and that it continues to serve humanity well into the future.
